What we store,
and what we don't

What we store

• Your X account's stable ID (not your @handle, which can change).
• A snapshot of your public profile info (handle, avatar) at the moment you verified — so your result page has something to show.
• A verification status (verified, expired, or revoked) and the timestamps needed to compute it.

What we never collect

• Your posts, replies, or comment text — none of it ever reaches our backend.
• Your X access token, beyond the single moment we use it to look up your account — it's discarded immediately after, never stored.
• Your legal identity. World ID confirms you're a unique human; it doesn't tell us who you are, and we don't ask.

How long we keep it

A verification is valid for 6 months, after which it shows as expired automatically — the record isn't deleted, it just stops counting as a current "pass." You can also revoke your own verification at any time, which is permanent.

Deleting your verification

From your result page, you can revoke your verification after reconnecting your X account to confirm it's really you. Once revoked, your account shows as not verified — no trace of the prior verification remains on the public page.

Third-party services

Verifying involves World ID and X directly. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
